When purchasing new equipment price is obviously a major contributory factor although should not necessarily be the deciding one. When you buy from Hobarts you get added value. Running Costs

Costs for consumables as far as the lasers are concerned are minimal and are hard to project but filter costs are something that need to be considered and budgeted for. All of our extraction systems come complete with 1 HEPA filter & F8/F9 grade Labyrinth Pre-filter. We have recently increased the grade of filter which allows a longer filter life. We have estimated that you will require 1 more of each of the filters (each should last between 12-15 months depending on usage and materials being cut or engraved on the laser).

Extraction


Laser systems require efficient extraction to perform reliably and to provide a safe, fume free working environment. To comply with Health & Safety and EC environmental legislation, you are required to filter the fumes expelled into the atmosphere. Hobarts offers a brand of extraction systems that are designed specifically to work with our lasers. The high quality exhaust-to-room extraction and filtration systems all employ a HEPA-carbon filter and new separate finer F8/F9 grade labyrinth prefilter.

Z Corporation 3D Printers are the fastest commercially available 3D printers, 5-10x faster than other RP technologies. A part can be printed at the rate of 25mm (1”) vertical per hour.
